i-Medical^® intraocular lenses (IOLs) are surgical implants made from a high-quality biocompatible material designed to substitute the human lens. They are manufactured, ground and surface-treated from one piece.

i-Medical^® AC 6025 PM IOLs are lathe-cut and tumble-polished from the finest polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) with an ultraviolet (UV) absorber.

Posterior IOLs are a refracting medium to replace the natural crystalline lens to correct aphakia where the cataractous lens has been removed using extracapsular extraction methods.

The monofocal IOL made from PMMA is available from 0.0 to 30.0 dioptres in increments of 0.5. The optical quality and dioptre strength of each individual IOL is checked individually.
